Societal Implications & Applications
Case Study:
Students work in small groups to analyze a current or past issue around Mitosis or Meiosis. Each student prepares a case for a certain "stake holder" in the issue at topic. The students present their case in a creative and persuasive way (i.e. role play or debate). Upon research of their stake holder (KWL Chart, Cornell Note-Taking) A cost-benefit analysis is done for each stakeholder and then the group as a whole will decide upon a decision about the case.
