LESSON ON CIRCULATORY SYSTEM
OPTION #1: POWER POINT LECTURE STYLE OPTION #2: Textbook + Answering Questions from the Textbook Home-work section with a study buddy. |
Students at the Grade 11 should begin to learn skills related to note taking. Lecture style teaching allows for students to prepare for University. The option of allowing students access to the power point prior to the class is a good way to teach note taking skills and an accommodation strategy for students with IEP's.
An alternative to that and an extension to teachings students how to take notes is providing them with the resources to take their own notes from their textbooks by using a worksheet as guide. A lot of worksheets and activities can be found from sources as teacherspayteachers. These technique can often be supplemented by doing a home group/ expert group activity. |
